Evans Lake is a 201 acre natural spring-fed private all sports lake with a maximum depth of 42 feet. The lake bottom is made up of sand, gravel, fibrous & pulpy peat, and marl. Evans Lake is a great fishing lake that is filled with bluegill, crappie, perch, walleye, largemouth bass, pike, and many other varieties.
Evans Lake is great for ice fishing. In the winter you will find many ice fishermen with or without shanties all over the lake. the lake has two small private islands in the middle occupied by their owners. There is a large sand bar between them and you will find many boats anchored there for a swim in the Summer.
Annually, Evans Lake is fish fed by the Lake Association which makes fishing on Evans Lake great fishing experience in Winter or Summer.
